As of July 26, 2024, CPR-Twin Cities is now specializing in the following three non-CPR/AED classes: "What You Can Do Until Medical Help Arrives," "Emergency Care for Severe Bleeding" and "Standard First Aid." See directly below for more information!
WHAT YOU CAN DO UNTIL MEDICAL HELP ARRIVES
Looking for a shorter, faster, easier and cheaper option? A lecturer at your conference? A presenter at your company's "lunch-and-learn" session? This 1 - 1.5 hour presentation can be customized to your specifications.
EMERGENCY CARE FOR SEVERE BLEEDING
While most bleeding is not life-threatening, some of it is. Going beyond simple bandaging generally taught in First Aid, we practice applying a tourniquet and packing a wound (using hemostatic dressing) to "stop the bleed."
STANDARD FIRST AID TRAINING
This class teaches how to recognize and treat many different medical conditions. It covers a wide range of injuries and sudden illnesses, from minor to life-threatening (conditions other than what are taught in CPR/AED).
As of July 26, 2024, CPR-Twin Cities is NO LONGER teaching any CPR and AED classes. Sorry for your inconvenience!
We offer the convenience of having your class taught in your own workplace, home or wherever — practically anywhere in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.
Outstanding CPR/AED and First Aid Classes ...
based on American Heart Association® guidelines!
CPR/AED TRAINING
In our CPR/AED classes, you will learn what to do for heart attack and cardiac arrest victims — until medical help arrives. You'll also learn what to do for a person (conscious or unconscious) who is choking, as well as what to do for a person suffering from a stroke.
FIRST AID TRAINING
This class teaches the basics of recognizing and treating many different medical conditions. It covers a wide range of injuries and sudden illnesses, from extremely minor to life-threatening (conditions other than what are taught in our CPR/AED classes).
CPR/AED/1ST AID COMBO
Since no one can ever predict what type of emergency they might encounter in life, taking a combo class of both CPR/AED and First Aid is a wise idea. Need another reason to take them together? It's both SHORTER and CHEAPER than taking them separately.
Shorter, Faster, Cheaper and Easier Options ...
for people not needing or caring about certification — but still wanting a basic knowledge of what to do in case of an emergency!
HANDS-ONLY CPR (CPR WITHOUT BREATHS)
This class teaches a simple, abbreviated version of CPR that provides continuous chest compressions — without any mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-mask contact — for an adult victim of sudden cardiac arrest.
