Please read carefully. The following policies apply to all classes taught by CPR-Twin Cities. They are subject to change, as needed, without notice.
Choosing the Correct Class
There are detailed class descriptions of our classes on this website. In addition to that, we are available via telephone and email to give advice as to which class is the most appropriate for a student’s vocational/academic needs. It is the student’s responsibility to inquire if his or her employer/school has specific certification requirements, and to ask for help before registering.
Attendance
Students must arrive on time and be present for the entire class to receive certification. Late-comers may be denied entry altogether (at the discretion of the instructor), or may be allowed to participate, but without certification.
Quality Standards
Students must not only attend class, they must demonstrate the ability to perform all skills and pass all written quizzes.
Environment
Classes will only be held in a safe and smoke-free environment.
Appropriate Attire
To allow students to perform all of the training skills on the floor and avoid embarrassment, please choose clothing that is both non-restrictive and non-revealing.
Recertification (also known as Review or Refresher) Classes
Recertification students will be required to show proof that they have successfully completed the equivalent American Red Cross or American Heart Association class within the past two years.
Emergency Cancellation
Though rare, emergencies do happen, and often without notice. If a class cancels, due to severe weather, instructor illness/injury, family emergencies or anything else that might be considered to be an emergency, we will get you the training you paid for as soon as feasible.
Low Enrollment Cancellation
Although we make every effort to promote classes scheduled in our training center, CPR-Twin Cities reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In case of a class cancellation, any student who has paid for his/her class will have the option of rescheduling into another class, at no additional charge, or receiving a full refund.
